Michael K. Sauter

Michael K. Sauter, age 63, of Steger, Illinois, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2017. Beloved husband of Janet Sauter nee Smith. Loving father of Amber Lee (Mark) Mersereau and Matthew (Kristina) Sauter. Cherished grandfather of Gabrielle, Christian, Michael, Ethan and Blake. Dear brother of Sandra (Jim) Thomas, Cynthia (Alan) Good and Candy Sue Sauter. Preceded in death by his parents Matthew and Joan Sauter. Michael was a former policeman for Beecher, Illinois, and retired after 32 years of service with the Steger Police Department. Michael will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
