Michael J. Snyder

Michael J. Snyder, age 64, of St. John, IN, his long, hard-fought battle with cancer ended on Wednesday, November 17, 2021.  Loving husband of Denise J. Snyder, nee DolleMolle.  Devoted father of Kevin M. (Magdelynn) Snyder and Gary D. (Alexa) Snyder.  Proud grandfather of Cooper Michael, Ava Madeline, and due in March, Camden Michael.  Cherished son of George (late Margaret) Snyder; son-in-law of Jeanette (late Bruno) DolleMolle.  Dear brother of George Snyder, William Snyder, and Donna (Fred) Pacius; brother-in-law of Gail (Stan) Kus and Laura DolleMolle.  Kind uncle of five nieces and two nephews.

Memorial visitation Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life service to be held at 6:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30/Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN, with Chaplain Joseph Mollet officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Michael to Memorial Bench Program Lake County Indiana Parks and Rec (checks should be made payable to Denise Snyder) or DNR: State Parks: Donating to Indiana State Parks ( www.in.gov/dnr/state-parks/how-you-can-help/donating ).
