Steele, age 63, late of Schererville, IN, passed away peacefully Thursday, January 26, 2023.  Devoted son of Harriet and the late Edward Steele.  Dear brother of Mary Garcia, Elizabeth Cates, Janet Maher, and the late James Steele.  Kind uncle of Anjelica Garcia, Lauren Garcia, Nicole Maher, Eric Maher, and Zachery Cates; great-uncle of Mia Petrus.  Loving partner of 21 years to Omar Ferrario.
