Mildred F. Deboer

Mildred F. DeBoer, nee Eenigenburg, age 91, of DeMotte, IN formerly of Lynwood, IL went home to her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 23, 2024.  Beloved wife of the late Dr. Henry R. DeBoer.  Loving mother of Robert DeBoer, the late Dr. Tim (Sue) DeBoer, John (Mary) DeBoer, Laurel (Tim) Stegenga and Dan (Sherry) DeBoer.  Devoted grandmother of 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren with 3 more on the way.  Dear sister of the late Mardelle (late Conrad) Kats, late Audrey (late Nicholas) Ridder, late Sarah Eenigenburg, late Glenn Eenigenburg, late Pearl (late Herman) Bultema, and the late Raymond (late Nellie) Eenigenburg. Kind aunt of many nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by her parents Cornelius and Tadie Eenigenburg.  Millie was loved by all who knew her and will be missed.

Visitation Sunday, January 28, 2024 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 29, 2024  at 11:00 A.M. at Oak Glen United Reformed Church, 2244 Indiana Ave., Lansing, IL with Rev. Roberto Rossi officiating.  Burial will take place at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Lansing, IL.  Memorials may be given to a Christian School of Choice.
