Minna Knol

Minna Knol, age 91, of Crete, Illinois, passed away on March 12, 2010. Minna was born on January 20, 1919, the daughter of George and Hattie (Kok) Medema. She married Richard Knol in Alto, Wisconsin, on December 12, 1941. Minna was a member of Crete Reformed Church. Minna is survived by one daughter, Cheri (Don) Ryken of Grant Park, Illinois; two sons, Rich Jr. (Jan) of Dyer, Indiana, and Cal (Bev) of Overland Park, Kansas; one foster son Lee (Debbie) Eades of Lowell, Indiana, and Myle Eades of Schererville, Indiana; 9 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. Minna was preceded in death by her husband Richard In October 1997. Visitation Monday, March 15th from 4:00 until time of funeral service 7:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Homes - Steger Memorial Chapel (3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, IL.).
