Nicholas “Nick” F. Mattia, age 69, of Richton Park, Illinois, passed away Monday, March 30, 2026. Devoted husband of Betty Mattia nee Lopez. Loving father of Marina (Shawn) Lee, Eden (Meghan) Puente, Nick (Doris Haro) Mattia. Cherished grandfather of Alyssa Puente-Sundeen, Shawn Lee Jr., Shannon Lee, Natalea Mattia, Yasenya Mattia, Delaney Mattia and Carmine Mattia. Dear brother to Cynthia (Phillip) Goldberg and David Mattia. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation Monday, April 6, 2026, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd in Steger. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, April 7, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Liborius in Steger, Illinois. Burial to follow at Assumption Cemetery in Glenwood, Illinois.
