Nina Olga Iocco

Nina Olga Iocco, nee Luciani, age 86, of Lansing, IL passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023.  Beloved wife of the late Giovanni Iocco. Loving mother of Romano Iocco and John Iocco.  Dear sister of Mario (Fina) Luciani and sister-in-law of Sabatino (Dina) Iocco and Antonia (late Domenico) DiCesare. Cherished aunt of Andrea (Carroll Dean) Welch, Marlo (Diane) Luciani, Donato (Monica) Iocco, Carmela (Mike) Wegworth, Diana Iocco, and Joseph DiCesare and great-aunt of Austin Welch, Melissa Luciani, Ryan Luciani, and Mia, Clara, and Elena Wegworth.  Preceded in death by her parents Nunzio and Maria Luciani.

Visitation Friday, August 25, 2023 from 4:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30/Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN. a visitation will also be held on Saturday from 11:30 until the time of the  Funeral Mass at 12:00 Noon directly at St. Thomas More, 8501 Calumet Ave., Munster, IN. Entombment at Assumption Cemetery – Glenwood, IL.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Thomas More Church.
