Norma L. Anderson, nee Flick, age 86, of Dyer, IN passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017. Beloved wife of Charles Anderson for 69 years. Loving mother of Terry (Diane) Anderson, Garold “Gig” (Karen) Anderson, and Nancy (Gene) Mathews. Devoted grandmother of Shawn (Elizabeth) Anderson , Todd (Melissa) Anderson, Nina (Jeff) Miller, Melissa (Dave) Ellingsen, Scott (Michelle) Anderson, Jill (Bryan) Postol, and Ryan Mathews. Great grandmother of Chase and Sophie Anderson , Nate and Sydney Ellingsen, Lainey and Haley Anderson, and Paxton Postol. Dear sister of Roy (Nancy) Flick Jr. Kind aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation, Friday, January 27, 2017 from 3:00 – 7:00 P.M. Funeral Service, Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30 & Pleasant Springs Lane) Dyer, IN. Interment Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens – Schererville, IN. Norma was a living example of love and determination, and she left a legacy of love. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was very dedicated to her family, and she will be deeply missed.
