Ola Mae Evans

Ola Mae Evans, age 95, of Crete, Illinois, passed away peacefully Monday, April 14, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Merchon Evans. Loving mother of the late Merchon Randel Evans, Terrell (Diane) Evans, Annie (Joseph) Valentino, Frank (Vesta) Evans, the late Donnie (Patricia) Evans, Barbara (James) Janeczko, Gabriel (Louise) Evans, Teresa (Michael) Lobaugh and Mary (David) Broman. Cherished grandmother of 15 grandchildren. Great-grandmother of 28 great grandchildren and great-great grandmother of 8 great-great grandchildren. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her 3 brothers and her parents Annie and Joseph Elliott. Ola will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation to be held Thursday, April 17, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at Smits – Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, Illinois, 60475.
