Omah "Kay" Katherine Hall, nee Cowser, age 87, of Chicago Heights, IL, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016. Beloved wife for 61 years of the late Erwin Hall. She is survived by a daughter, Diana (late Jack) Mink; 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; a sister, May (Carl) Thomsen;brother, Ron (Sarah) Cowser; sister-in-law, Faye Cowser, and good friend Lester Jones. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Renee Hall and one sister and four brothers. Visitation Monday, May 16, 2016 from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home (2121 Pleasant Springs Ln., Dyer, IN). Funeral service Tuesday, May 17, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at Lake Hills Baptist Church (9209 W. 85th Schererville, IN) with Rev. Phil Humber officiating. Interment Cedar Park Cemetery - CalumetPark, IL. Memorial contributions may be given to the Lake Hills Baptist Church or William J. Riley Hospice House.
