Opal D Jenkins

Opal D. Jenkins age 93 of Steger, IL, passed away on October 9, 2013. Opal is survived by her son Alden (Sharon) Jenkins and her Grandchildren Stacy Overbey, Chris Busse, Eric Busse, Natalie (Witt) Dickey, William Witt and John Jenkins. She is also survived by her Great-grandchildren Kaitlyn, Zachary, Tyler, Alexa, Lucas, Kaleb, Kendall, Elizabeth, Sara, Ryan, Josh, Maxx, Ana, Chrissy, Bob and Rick and Great-Great-Grandchildren Christopher, Jena, Ricky Jr and Amber. She was preceded in death by her husband Alden R Jenkins Sr, daughters Carol Witt and Janene (Al) Busse, and Grandson Kevin Jenkins. Visitation for Opal Jenkins will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2013 from 3:00 till 7:00 P.M. at the Smits Funeral Homes-Steger Memorial Chapel 3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, IL. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 14, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Paul''s Lutheran Church 330 Highland Dr., Chicago Heights, IL 60411. Interment will be at Skyline Memorial Park - Monee, IL.
