Ottmar H. "Hank" Becker, age 85, of South Holland, IL, passed away peacefully Friday, May 8, 2015. Beloved husband of Joyce E. Becker, nee DeYoung. Devoted father of Lawrence Becker, Jason (Bonnie) Bowsman, and Scott (Paula) Bowsman. Proud grandpa of Kristy, Jana, Jessica, Nicole, Jacob, and Olivia. Dear brother of Rosemary (Marion) Siekierski and Joseph (Rose) Becker. Kind uncle of several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Ottmar and Magdalene Becker. Visitation Tuesday, May 12, 2015 from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral service Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home (649 E. 162nd St. South Holland, IL 60475) with Deacon Timothy Springer officiating. Entombment Skyline Memorial Park Cemetery - Monee, IL. Mr. Becker was a proud Marine, having served honorably in the Korean War. Mr. Becker was also the Administrator for the City of Country Club Hills with 29 years of dedicated service. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts to VITAS Hospice (1423 Chicago Rd.
