Ochoa, Pablo, age 93, of Chicago Heights, IL, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. Devoted husband of Emma Ochoa. Dear father of Anita (Jeorge) Galvan of Chicago Heights, Sylvia (late Gregoria) Zambrano of Chicago Heights, Raquel (Andrew) Morales of Posen, Pablo Jr. of Chicago Heights, Israel “Chacho” late 2009, and Adelina (Brian) Henderson. Proud grandfather of 13; great-grandfather of 24; great-great grandfather of 4. Pablo was preceded in death by his son Israel in 2009 and his grandson Allen Morales in 2004. He was the sibling of Lucy Cortez, Rose Flores, Erasmo “Eddy” Ochoa, and Delfino Ochoa. Born in Dilley, Texas - June 22,1927. He lived in Chicago Heights since 1943. Pablo and Emma were married at St. Casimir in 1950. They raised their family of six in Chicago Heights. He worked for 37 years for Allis Chalmers as a welder and from the City of Chicago Heights. For 50 years he was a player-owner of the Panther Baseball Team of Chicago Heights and won many awards with the Mexican Baseball Association in Chicago. He was an entertainment business owner for 20 years of “Ochoa’s Rainbow Hall” (Halsted Street) which serviced the community.
Private funeral services to be held at Steger Memorial Chapel with a private funeral mass at St. Agnes Church in Chicago Heights, IL. Interment at Assumption Cemetery - Glenwood, IL.
