Patricia Paulson, nee Sullivan, age 60, of Schererville, IN, passed away Monday, August 11, 2014. Beloved wife of Timothy Paulson. Loving and devoted mother of Chad, Adam (Sarah), and Eric Paulson. Proud Grammy of Axel Paulson. Preceded in death by her parents Charles and Joyce Sullivan. Visitation Thursday, August 14, 2014 from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN 46311. Funeral service Friday, August 15, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Maplewood Memorial Cemetery - Crown Point, IN. Pat dedicated her life and soul to raising her three sons. When her sons went off to college, she decided to do the same, graduating with honors from Purdue Calumet in 2003. She was a volunteer for the Lake County CASA Program working as an advocate for children. Pat had also just recently accepted a position at Hoehn Medical Group in Schererville. Most recently, Pat''s time was spent adoring her newest love in life, her grandson Axel.
