Patrick M Meehan, age 68 of Crete, Illinois, passed away peacefully October 18, 2019. Beloved husband of Mary Beth Meehan nee Blackburn. Loving father of Katie (Andy) Ecklund, Michael (Jennifer) Meehan, Maggie (Kevin) Barbeau, and Annie (Brian) Mathews. Cherished grandfather of Cora, Audrey, Michael, Joseph, late George Andrew, and the late Edith Marie. Dear brother of the late Dennis, and the late Richard Meehan. Patrick will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, October 22, 2019 10:00 a.m. directly at St. Liborius Church, 71 W 35th, Steger, IL 60475. Arrangements entrusted to Smits Funeral Homes – Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd., Steger, IL. Interment will take place privately. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society .
