Patsy Marie Ann Blissett

Patsy Marie Ann Blissett, nee Buchmeier, age 86 of Lowell, Indiana. Passed away on November 16th, 2022. Beloved wife of 59 years to the late Charles A. Blissett. Loving mother of Dawn (Michael D.) Sylvester, Anna (James) Abram, and George E. (Dawn) Blissett. Cherished grandmother of 6 Grandchildren, Michael R. (Marci) Sylvester, Ken Blissett, Abbey (Ryan) Otterman, Jamie Blissett, Jerrod (Suzanne) Abram and Ryan Abram.
Patsy was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Mildred Buchmeier of Crete, Illinois. She is also preceded in death by 14 siblings, Sisters: Rita Smith, Mildred Fangman, Kay Jackson, Dixie Crane, Betty Cicale, and Janet Stanfa; Brothers: Richard Buchmeier, Jackie Buchmeier, George Buchmeier, Gene ‘Chico’ Buchmeier, Harold Buchmeier, Robert Buchmeier, Herman Buchmeier, and James Buchmeier.
Patsy was an avid gardener, loved flowers, holiday decorating and celebrating with family and friends. Along her journey in life, she touched many hearts and souls from all walks of life, she was selfless and kind to all those in need at any time. We are celebrating the memories that filled our hearts during her 86 years of life.
Memorial Visitation will be on Sunday, December 4th from 1:00 p.m. until time of Memorial Service at 4:30 p.m. at Smits-Steger Memorial Chapel 3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, IL. Interment will take place at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Cemetery at a later date. www.smitsfh.com
