Paul F Halter

Paul F. Halter, age 101 of Steger, IL, passed away peacefully at the Manteno Veterans Home on January 13, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Arlene Halter nee Stiltz for 68 Years. Loving father of Judith (Victor) Latino and the late Donna Halter. Cherished grandfather of seven; great-grandfather of fourteen and great-great-grandfather of five. Visitation Saturday, January 17, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church 540 Oak Park Avenue, Beecher, IL 60401. Interment Skyline Memorial Park - Monee, IL. Paul Retired in 1981 as an Operating Engineer with Local 150. He was a United States Army Veteran of WWII and helped build the Ernie Pyle Memorial Bridge in Germany. He was also a longtime member of the Steger American Legion.
