Paul H. Johnson

Paul Hagbert Johnson, beloved child of God, passed from this earthly life into the very presence of his Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, December 27, 2021.  Beloved husband of the late Mary E. Johnson, nee Hill, who passed just a few hours before him.  Loving father of Beverly (Barry) Waters, Nancy (Don) Ciliax, Philip (Julie) Johnson, and Wendy Johnson.  Cherished grandfather of Kyle (Ginny Mies) Waters, Kellen (Lindsay) Waters, Ryan (Bekah) Ciliax, Catherine (Nate) Markette, Erin (Ryan) Hannas, Christina Johnson, the late Trace Waters, and the late Kayla Waters.  Cherished great-grandfather of 12.  Preceded in death by his siblings Katherine Henning, James Johnson, Richard Johnson, and Stephen Johnson, and by his parents Hagbart and Agnes Johnson.  Paul was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

Visitation Wednesday, January 5, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. at Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home, 649 E. 162 ^nd St, South Holland, IL with Rev. Steve Miller officiating.  Interment Chapel Hill Gardens South – Oak Lawn, IL. The service will be live streamed from our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/SmitsFH
