Paul Massignani Sr., age 73, of Dyer, Indiana, went home to his Lord and Savior on Friday, April 5, 2024. Beloved husband of Cheryl Massignani (nee Boender). Loving father of Paul (Angelica) Massignani Jr., Tina (Luke) Fagan, and Lou (Ann Marie) Massignani. Cherished grandfather of Jackson, Kearney, Delaney, Reilly, Sofia, Vincent, and Ava. Preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Louise Massignani.

He spent his life showing his family how much he loved them.  As a proud Italian, he enjoyed everything that came out of his ancestral country: the food, the language, and especially the motorcycles.  He was a prolific teller of dad jokes and he always wanted to make you laugh.  He fought Parkinson’s and cancer bravely, making sure the people around him felt the love he had for them.

Visitation Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. with a funeral service to be held at 5:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30/Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN. Memorial contributions may be given to Northwest Indiana Parkinsons. ( https://nwiparkinson.org/) .
