Paul R. Santefort, age 78, of Munster, IN, formerly of South Holland, passed away Monday, October 1, 2018. Beloved husband of Dagmar Santefort, nee Hinze. Loving father of Stephan (Diane) Santefort and Susan Santefort. Proud Opa of Haden, Lucas, and Ava. Dear brother of Joyce (Bob) Rietveld, Pat (Gene) Meidema, Jim Santefort, Marv (Joyce) Santefort and Karen (Ken) Rolland. Kind uncle of several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Lucas and Grace Santefort. Mr. Santefort was a United States Army Veteran and retired as a Senior Vice President of Operations at South Holland Trust and Savings Bank.

Visitation Sunday, October 7, 2018 from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30 & Pleasant Spring Ln.) Dyer, IN. Funeral service Monday, October 8, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Oak Ridge Cemetery – Lansing, IL. Memorial contributions may be given to Unity Hospice.
