Paul T Teske

Paul T. Teske, a loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2023, with his family by his side. He was a devoted family man, a faithful Christian, and a hardworking individual who brought joy and warmth to the lives of those around him. Paul's legacy is one of love, faith, and dedication.

Born in Missouri and later a long-time resident of South Chicago Heights, Paul served his country with honor in the Army, stationed in Germany during the late 1950s. After his military service, he worked for many years at Calumet Steel.

A devout Lutheran, Paul found solace and inspiration in reading scripture and sharing his faith with others. His faith was a guiding force in his life, providing him with strength and comfort during difficult times. Paul's devotion to his religious beliefs touched the lives of those who knew him.

Paul had a passion for gardening. He found joy in tending to his garden, growing an abundance of onions, green beans, and, above all, tomatoes. He enjoyed sports and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals and the Green Bay Packers.

Paul cherished his family and the time he spent with them. He was a devoted and loving husband to his wife, Joan (née Paukstis), and a caring father to his daughters, Sheree (Frank) DeSalvo and Paula (Dennis) Wolff. His grandchildren, Matt, Joe, Hannah, Clara, and Ella, held a special place in his heart, and he took great pride in watching them grow and succeed.

While Paul will be deeply missed, the memories and values he instilled in those around him will continue to live on, a testament to a life well-lived.
