Pearl W. Leistra

Pearl W. Leistra, nee Zylstra, age 97, of South Holland, IL went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 28, 2018.  Beloved wife of the late Philip W. Leistra. Dear mother of the late Philip (late Nancy) Leistra Jr., Wayne (Kathy) Leistra, Cynthia Leistra (late Howard) Cole, and Jim (Laura) Leistra. Loving grandmother of Philip W. (fiancée Ashleigh Van Duinen) Leistra III, Todd (Tricia) Leistra, Sara (Paul) Wanless, Jessica (Matt) Safron, Abigail Leistra and Matthew Leistra; great grandmother of Paige, Landon, Brady, Calum, Emerson, Declan, Matthew and Johnathan.  Preceded in death by her parents Andrew and Rose Zylstra, and a sister Dorothy (Peter) Fennema and a brother John (Fran) Zylstra.  Mrs. Leistra was a 30 year volunteer with the Women’s Auxiliary at the Holland Home in South Holland.

Visitation Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at New Hope CRC, 3642 Lake St., Lansing, IL with Pastor Dan Roels officiating.
