Peter E Ciarlo

Peter Ciarlo passed away peacefully on March 15, 2016 at the age of 90. He was born September 4, 1925 in Chicago Heights, Illinois. For the majority of his career, he was in the building trades. Peter enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling and was a huge fan of anything to do with the Old West. He was survived by his loving daughters, Sandra (Lee) Huddleston of Corpus Christi, Texas; Jody (John) Swatek of San Diego, California and Jamie (David) Dunham of Kokomo, Indiana. Also, his grandchildren, Donna Lee Kingery, Jason Coulter, Wayne Linke and Kristin Goodman. All of the grandchildren called him "Pa". He was preceded in death by his parents, John & Domenica Ciarlo of Steger, and his siblings, Michael Ciarlo of Steger, IL, Joseph Ciarlo of Crete, IL; Mary Ciarlo of Homewood, IL and Serena Ciarlo of Steger, IL. Peter has many surviving nieces and nephews. Peter will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Visitation Thursday, March 24, 2016 from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Smits, Steger Memorial Chapel 3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, Illinois.
