Peter J. Mateyka, age 87, of So. Chicago Hts., Illinois, passed away January 30, 2014. Loving husband of Rose Mateyka nee Chudada. Cherished father of Susan, Sally and Thomas. Funeral Mass Tuesday February 4, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church 206 E. 25th St. Chicago Hts., IL 60411. Interment at Calvary Cemetery Steger, IL. Mr. Mateyka was a WWII Navy veteran, member of the Steger VFW Post 8283 and Catholic War Veterans Post 1060.
