Peter A. Nigro Sr. Age 71, South Florida, formerly Park Forest , Il passed away peacefully Feb 10, 2013. Beloved husband of Judy Presnak-Nigro. Loving father of Ron (Crystal) Nigro, Debbie (Bill) Myers, David Nigro, Pete (Katie) Nigro, Dan(Kathy) Nigro. Cherished grandfather of Ryan and Kyle, Samantha and Krystal, Peyton and Olivia, Alyssa and Austin, and great granddaughter Cali, and many nieces and nephews. Dear brother of Richard, Fred, and Mary. Pete was preceded in death by his parents Victor and Estelle Nigro, brother Victor Jr., sister Phyllis Nigro-Ott, Robert, Joseph, and David Nigro. Visitation Saturday February 16th, 2013 from 1:00 - 5:00pm at Smits Funeral Homes -Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Road, Steger, IL. Funeral service and Interment private. Mr Nigro, Pete, Big Pete, Papa and Pops was friends of many and loved by all. He enjoyed his grandchildren and loved them more than anything. Dad, Papa, Big Pete or Papa Nigro was a gentle kind man who always made time to be with friends and family. He did it his way and enjoyed life.
