Peter J. Panozzo, age 84, of Thornton, IL passed away peacefully on May 11, 2018.  Beloved husband of Marilyn Panozzo, nee Serpless.  Loving father of Peter (Debbie) Panozzo, the late Jeffrey Panozzo, and the late David Panozzo.  Devoted grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.  Dear brother of  Mary Ostarello, the late Aldo Panozzo, the late Amelia Turturillo, and the late Eda Dalba.  Kind uncle to several nieces and nephews. Visitation Tuesday, May 15, 2018 from 3:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home 649 E. 162 ^nd St. (Rt.6/159 ^th St.) South Holland, IL.  Prayer service, Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 9:15 A.M. at the funeral home leaving for a Funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M. at St. John Catholic Church, 301 S.
