Peter Anthony Pidrak

Peter Anthony Pidrak, age 75, of Steger, IL, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023.  Beloved husband of Kathleen M Kenney Pidrak.  Loving father of Peter Thomas (Deena Marie) Pidrak, Darcie Christine Pidrak (Anthony David) Opferman, Dorine Karin Pidrak Steele, Amanda Devon Pidrak (Donald Andrew) Johnston. Cherished grandfather of Kathleen Violet Pidrak Steele, Kyleigh Darcie Rae Steele, Karin Dorothy Marie Steele, Rachel Mae Opferman, Shannon Elizabeth Pidrak, Anthony Dennis Pidrak, Nolan Anthony Opferman, Cory Michael Joseph McCarthy, Kenneth William Johnston, Owen Leslie Johnston; Great-grandfather of Dorine Kline. Dear brother of Mary Anne (Frederick) Weeden, Barbara Sue Baert, and Michael Joseph Pidrak.  Kind uncle of many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by his parents Anthony Joseph Pidrak and Violet Mae Verbeek Pidrak.
Peter was a proud US Army veteran serving from 1969 to 1971 in the Vietnam War. He owned and operated American Classic Rebar since 1990. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.
