Phillip B. Pazanin, age 78, of Lynwood, IL, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2012. Beloved husband of Margaret A. Pazanin, nee Kosteba. Father of Philip (Mary), Paul, Glenn (Kathleen), Michael (Jeannie), and Todd (Linda) Pazanin. Proud grandfather of six. Visitation Sunday, September 23, 2012 from 2:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt. 30 & Pleasant Springs Lane) Dyer, IN 46311. Lying in state Monday, September 24, 2012 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church (22400 S. Torrence Ave. Sauk Village, IL 60411) with Rev. David Krolczyk officiating. Interment private. Mr. Pazanin loved traveling, fishing and spending winters in Florida with his wife of 58 years. He was instrumental in the construction of Bethlehem Steel, a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus Lansing Council #3540, and treasurer of numerous organizations.
