Phillip R. Yates, Sr.

Phillip R. Yates Sr., age 69, of Sauk Village, IL passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021.  Loving father of Timburley (Scott) Ecklund, Phil (Wendi) Yates Jr., Jay (Michele) Yates, and Jessica (Brian) Dempsey.  Cherished grandfather of fifteen grandchildren and great-grandfather of two.  Loving partner in life of Patti Yates.  Dear brother of Sandy (George) Winsted.  Phillip was preceded in death by his siblings Leslie Yates, Jesse Benjamin Yates, Roxanne Yates, Michael Yates, Paulette Yates, Corinne Yates, and Clifford Yates and by his parents Jesse Yates and Esther Yates Monsma.  Phillip was a retired crane operator in the Steel Mills.  He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman.  He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
