Phyllis L. Friesema

Phyllis L. Friesema nee Haan, age 75, of St. John, Indiana, went home to her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 7, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Allen Friesema. Loving mother of Jamie (Denise) Friesema, the late Dale Friesema and the late Scott (Kerrie) Friesema. Cherished grandmother of Erynn, Skyler, Cameron, Casey, Alex and Kiera. Dear sister of Sandra (late John) Lindemulder. Kind aunt to several nieces and nephews. Phyllis was a retired secretary at Bethel Christian Reformed Church. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation Friday, December 15, 2023 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Ln., Dyer, IN.  Funeral service Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Bethel Christian Reformed Church, 3500 Glenwood Lansing Rd, Lansing, IL 60438. Interment to follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Lansing, Illinois. Memorial donations can be made to Friesema Family Scholarship Fund at Trinity Christian College.
