Phyllis C. Nowak, nee Szatkowski, of South Holland, IL, age 83, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 8, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Fred A. Nowak. Dearest mother of Jeffrey Nowak. Loving sister of Florence (late Edward) Burda. Preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Mary Szatkowski, nee Pawlak, and brothers and sisters Helen (late Frank) Ochwat, Michael (late Sophie) Szatkowski, Albina (late Stanley) Waninski, Eleanor (late Peter) Laski, Edwin (late Dolores) Szatkowski, and Joseph Szatkowski.
