Rachel Kathryn “Kay” Cartwright, nee Wilson, age 91, of Lansing, IL, passed away peacefully Friday, April 7, 2017. Beloved wife of the late J.L. Cartwright. Devoted mother of Andy (Karen) Cartwright, Kay (Wayne) Jacobsma, Michael (Belinda) Cartwright, and the late Thomas (Lynn) Cartwright. Proud grandmother of Lana, Lisa, Torry, Matt, Katy, Tommy, Mandy, Dave, and Cole; great-grandmother of Joey, Sydney, Tristen, Dylan, Jackson, Maya, and Mia. Dear sister of Jean (James) Hogan and the late Nona (late Buddy) Cannon. Kind aunt of nieces and nephews. Memorial visitation Sunday, April 23, 2017 from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. with a memorial service to be held at 5:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home James E. Janusz Director, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt. 30 & Pleasant Springs Lane) Dyer, IN. Kay was a long-time member of the Arcadia Chapter #967 Order of the Eastern Star in Lansing, IL.
