Randy Huscher

Randy Louis " Rainbow" Huscher passed away on May 12, 2025, in Schererville, Indiana, at the age of 56. Born on March 1, 1969, in Blue Island, Illinois, Randy brought light and laughter to those around him throughout his life.

He built a respected career as a highly trained security executive and trainer. His dedication to safety and mentorship left a lasting impression on colleagues and those he guided. Known for his professionalism and commitment, Randy took great pride in his work and the trust others placed in him.

At the heart of Randy’s life was his deep love for family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Jennifer Huscher (née Birk), who stood by his side through all of life’s seasons. He also leaves behind two loving sisters, Pam Vasaitis-Scott (Lee) and Sherry Metz (Brian); Uncle Mike and Aunt Janice; along with many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will remember him with great affection.

Randy was preceded in death by his mother Janet, father William, and brother Billy—losses that shaped his resilience and compassion over the years.

He found joy in life’s simple pleasures: spending time with loved ones, sharing laughter, playing games, and cherishing each moment. One of his greatest joys was time spent with his little buddy Bumblebee (Bubba)—a bond that brought warmth to everyday life.

Randy's legacy of love and laughter lives on in the hearts of all who knew him. May his memory continue to bring comfort and joy to those he held dear.
