Raymond C Hauser, age 77, of Manteno, IL passed away October 9, 2011. Beloved husband of the late Barbara Hauser nee Weiland. Loving father of Raymond (Lorri) Hauser of Crete, IL, and Kathy Zemaitis of Manteno, IL. Cherished grandfather of Raechel Zemaitis and Rebecca Hauser. Brother of Barbara Laboda. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Friday, October 14th from 2:00 until time of Masonic service 7:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Homes-Steger Memorial Chapel 3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, IL 60475. Private interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery " Elwood, IL. Raymond retired from the US Postal Service as a engineer. He served as Captain in the US Air Force Reserves, and was a graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology and the University of Chicago. He was an active member of his Masonic Lodge, the Scottish Rite, York Rite and the Shrine. He was Past Master of Tinley Park Lodge 810 A.F & A.M., and Past Master and current member of Crete Lodge 763 A.F & A.M., Valley of Chicago.
