Regina Josephine Lewis

Regina Josephine Lewis, nee Swiatnicki, age 102, of Chicago, IL, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Thomas H. Lewis. Loving mother of Thomas J. (Marilynne) Lewis. Cherished grandmother of Donna (Matt) Block and Michael C. Lewis. Great grandmother of Amber Rich, Peyton Rich, David Rich, Danica Block, Matthew Block, Gabrielle Block, Samantha Block, and Christian Block. Dear aunt to many nieces and nephews. Regina was preceded in death by her parents; Lawrence and Valentine Swiatnicki, and three brothers. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held Sunday, August 6, 2023 from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Steger Memorial Chapel (3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, IL). Funeral Mass Monday, August 7, 2023, 10:30 a.m. meeting directly at St. Joseph Church 440 Joliet St. Dyer, IN 46311. Interment to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery – Justice, IL.
