Rev. Charles E. Cardwell

Rev. Charles E. Cardwell, age 93, was called home by his Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 4, 2023. Beloved husband of 64 years to the late Imogene M. Cardwell, nee Milam. Loving father of Darlene Conner, Diana Bradford, and the late David Cardwell. Cherished grandfather and great-grandfather to many. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, his four brothers, and three sisters. Rev. Charles spread joy to his family as well as his congregation of First Apostolic Church in Steger, IL, where he served as the beloved pastor for 31 years. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation to be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. until time of Funeral Service at 7:00 p.m. directly at First Apostolic Church (22709 State St., Steger, IL 60475). Visitation Wednesday, May 10, from 9:00 – 9:30 a.m. at First Apostolic Church with a funeral precession to Skyline Memorial Park, Monee, IL for interment.
