Rhonda Ann Dekker, nee Koopmans, age 63, of Saint John, IN, formerly South Holland, IL, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2021.  Loving wife of Jeff Dekker.  Devoted mother of Joel (Amy) Dekker, Rachel (Robert) Van Der Woerd, Rosalyn (Jim) Fluit, and Justin Dekker.  Proud grandmother of Simon, Jonah, Levi, Alice, Abigail, Ethan, Peter, Oliver, Adelaide, and Elora. Daughter of Simon and Delores Koopmans.  Dearest sister of Keith (Patricia) Koopmans.  Kind aunt of several nieces and nephews.  Daughter-in-law of Sandra (late Harry) Dekker; Sister-in-law of Ken (Dianna) Dekker, Betty (Richard) Balsamo, Scott (Linda) Dekker, and Jill (Ken) Bosman.  Rhonda was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Visitation Friday, November 12, 2021 from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30/Pleasant Springs Ln.), Dyer, IN.  Funeral service Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at First Church, 16248 South Park Ave. South Holland, IL, with Pastor John Rogers officiating.  Interment Memory Lane Memorial Park – Crown Point, IN.  Memorial contributions may be given to Grace Church NWI , PO Box 1172, Crown Point, IN 46308.
