Richard H. Braun

Richard H. Braun, age 80, of Dyer, IN, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2019.  Beloved husband of the late Bonnie Braun, nee Dinsmore. Loving father of Lisa (Timothy) Konvalinka, Raymond (Karen) Braun, and Richard Braun. Proud grandfather of three; great-grandfather of one. Dear brother of Robert (Germaine) Braun and Raymond (Linda) Braun. Uncle of two nieces. Preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Louise Braun.

Visitation Sunday, June 9, 2019 from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30 & Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN. Richard was a retired police lieutenant serving in Chicago and Homewood. He was dearly loved and will be missed.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Alzheimer’s Foundation.
