Richard Jay Cowser, age 54, of South Holland, IL passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 26, 2013. Beloved husband of Janice Cowser( nee Wesche). Loving father of Scott(Danielle) Cowser and step-father of Nicole(Jason) Heimos and Nora(Bill) Kornblum. Cherished grandfather of 8. Devoted son of Thomas and Carol Cowser. Dear brother of June (Al) Fidanza, Jane (Jim) Candell, and Tom (Cheryl) Cowser Jr. Fond uncle of 6 nephews and nieces and 3 great nephews and nieces. Visitation with family and friends will be held Wednesday, October 2, 2013 from 2:00 - 6:00 P.M. at the Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home, 649 E. 162nd St. (Rt.6/159th St.) South Holland, IL. Memorial contributions may be given to Charity of Choice.
