Richard Michael Cozad, age 56, of Munster, IN, passed away Monday, July 6, 2026. Beloved husband of Dawn L. Dalle Molle. Dear brother of the late Cindy Lewis, late Robert Cozad, late Brenda Cozad, and Cathy (Poncho) Warren. Kind uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Robert and Clara Cozad. Rick was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, July 12, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 4:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Breakthrough T1D (formerly Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, or JDRF).
