Beloved husband of Lauranne nee Anderson; Dear father of Sandra (Michael) Ruhl, Terry (Chris) ODea, Kimberly (ODee) Tucker and step- father of Craig Gentzle and Gary (Sharon) Gentzle; Proud grandfather of nine and great-grandfather of eleven. Visitation Wednesday, May 9, 2007 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 4:00 p.m. at the Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home 649 E. 162nd St. (Rt. 6/159th St) South Holland, IL. Mr. Evensen was a W.W. II U.S.Marine Corp. Veteran (Pacific Theatre). He was a member of the Piscateers in Dolton, IL and retired from R.R. Donnelley Co.
