Richard J. Gula, age 86, of South Holland, IL, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 27, 2015. Beloved husband of Jacqueline L. Gula, nee Wetmore. Devoted father of Linda (Les) Caldwell, Karen (Todd) Madden, and Jon (Jody) Gula. Proud grandfather of Jenny Caldwell, Alexandra and Nicholas Gula. Dear brother of Lillian (late Walter) Pelnik. Visitation Thursday, December 31, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. both at Holy Ghost Church (170th & Cottage Grove Ave. South Holland, IL 60473) with Rev. Anthony Talarico officiating. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery - Elwood, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital (262 Danny Thomas Pl.
