Richard Knol Jr., age 73, of Dyer, IN, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 21, 2016. Beloved husband of Janice Knol, nee Huizenga. Devoted father of Dawn Gresko. Loving grandfather of Megan Gresko, Krystal (Nate) Kochopolous, David Gresko and Emma Gresko; great-grandfather of Noah and Leah. Dear brother of Cal (Bev) Knol and Cheri (Don) Ryken. Kind uncle of several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Richard and Minna Knol. Visitation Wednesday, April 27, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30 & Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN 46311 with Rev. Drew Brown officiating. Private family interment at Oak Ridge Cemetery - Lansing, IL.
