Richard Kush

Richard Kush MSG U.S.A.F., age 72, late of Dyer, IN, passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 13, 2022.  Loving husband of Annette T. Kush, nee Maglish.  Dear brother of Yvonne (Mike) Bretzinger and David Kush; brother-in-law of Carl (Patty) Maglish, Coleen Burns, Tom (Kathy) Maglish, Diana Maglish, Bernadette Maglish, Pat (Mary Kay) Maglish, Glenn (Gina) Maglish, and the late Dennis Maglish.  Kind uncle of many nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Elvira Kush.

Richard was a U.S. Air Force Veteran having proudly served for 22 years, was a faithful member of Faith Church in Dyer, IN (as well as a security guard), a longtime fraternal member of the Freemasons, a member of the American Legion Post #66, a stamp & coin collector, lover of Schnauzers (especially his beloved late Precious), and spoke three languages fluently.

Visitation Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. with a funeral service to be held at 6:30 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30/Pleasant Springs Ln.), Dyer, IN, with Rev. Andy Nearpass officiating.  Entombment Monday, December 19, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Graceland Cemetery – Valparaiso, IN.
