Mr. Lyzenga is survived by his wife: Bonnie Lyzenga (nee Tuuk); two sons: Larry (Marianne) Lyzenga and Jeffrey (Lisa) Lyzenga both of Lansing, IL; one daughter: Kathy (Todd) Huizenga of Crown Point, IN; nine grandchildren; Kelly (David) Burney, Jeremy, Kaitlyn, Ciara, Jake, Regan, Zoe, Alex and Nicholas; two brothers: Gilbert (Grace) Lyzenga and Marvin (Nancy) Lyzenga both of Dyer, IN; and three sisters: Anne (late Don) Marion of Evansville, IN, Eunice (Art) Balk of Fulton, IL and Betty (late Harold) Henry of Albany, IL. Preceded in death by one brother: the late Franklin (late Ida) Lyzenga.
