Richard C. Meneghini, age 69, of Dyer, IN, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 26, 2017. Beloved husband of Donna Meneghini, nee Shaw. Loving father of Sandra (Jack) De Horn, Michelle (Rich) Meneghini-Gale, Brian (Megan) Miller, and Jenny (Ken) Hon. Proud grandfather of Jackie, John, Sarah, Rockie, Bobby, Brianna, Tyler, Kayla, Alyssa, and Cynthia and great-grandfather of Addie. Dear brother of Jeanne (Howie) Meneghini and Lorraine Meneghini-Stefani. Kind uncle to several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Gino and Rosalie Meneghini. Visitation Tuesday, May 30, 2017 from 3:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt. 30 & Pleasant Springs Lane) Dyer, IN. Funeral service Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Smits Funeral Home. Interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery – Elwood, IL. Mr. Meneghini was a Vietnam War Army Veteran.
