Richard Nordyke, age 73, of Munster, IN passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2016. Survived by lifetime partner of 43 years Joe Szot. Loving father of Richard Jr. (Regana) Nordyke of Schererville, IN and Kimberly (Dean) Brummet of Griffith, IN . Devoted grandfather of eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Wayne (Ethel), Donald (Carolyn), and Chet Nordyke. Brother-in-law of Walter Kolarczyk. Nieces Karen Ward and Diane Kolarczyk. Nephews Andrew ( fiancée Terri) Jerry (Jennifer) and Larry (Valerie) Kolarczyk. Four-legged friend Nomi. Additional nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents Harold and June Nordyke , surrogate parents Wayne and Blossom Berdine, and brothers Jack and Russell Nordyke.
