Richard D. Palm, age 80, of Crete, IL, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2019.  Beloved husband of Betty Palm, nee Andersen.  Loving father of Bill (Pam) Palm, Jeanine (Gil) Evers, and Jerry Palm.  Devoted grandfather of Rebecca, Jessica, and Nicholas Palm and Joshua, Timothy, and Faith Evers and Lauren (Eric) Van Vuren.  Dear brother of Shirley (Norman) Haupt.

Visitation Wednesday, July 17, 2019 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m.  Funeral service Thursday, July 18, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Smits Funeral Home  2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN, with Rev. Kevin DeVries officiating. Interment Memory Lane Memorial Park - Crown Point, IN.
