Richard G Stewart

Richard G. Stewart, age 94, of Crete, IL, passed away on August 30, 2022. Beloved husband of Joan Stewart. Loving father of Patricia (Jeffrey) Stewart-Gaydos and Cynthia S. (Patrick E.) Croxen. Cherished grandfather of Bryan P. Croxen. Richard was a proud Korean War Veteran and graduate of Purdue University. He was a member of many clubs, including the Studebaker Drivers Club and the Packard Club. Richard will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Memorial gathering to be held on Sunday, September 4th from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Steger Memorial Chapel (3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, IL 60475). Inurnment to be held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery on Thursday, September 15 at 1:00 p.m. Please arrive at cemetery 15 minutes before service.
