Richard Paul Turcany, age 89 of Chicago Heights, Illinois passed away on June 30, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his daughter, Barbara (Ken) Black, sons Richard (Trish) Turcany and Paul Turcany; Grandchildren Heather (Andrew) Duckman, Jason Struyf, Kenna Black, Nathan and Matthew Turcany; Great Granddaughters Emily and Hannah Duckman; Great Great Granddaughter Violet Roberts; sister Barbara (Roland) Tucker; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet, and his mother, father and brother. He retired from the Chicago Heights Public Library and was a US Navy Veteran.

Visitation Tuesday, July 3, 2018 from 12:00 until time of the Funeral Service at 2:00 pm at Steger Memorial Chapel, Steger, IL. Interment at St Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, Flossmoor, Illinois. www.smitsfh.com
